Start a search with KYO Search Partners
The fastest way to start is an email to Kelly at kelly.yosten@kyosearchpartners.com, or a call booked directly in her calendar. If you are hiring, the first conversation is about the role rather than about a contract. If you are a candidate, it is about what you do and what you are looking for, and nothing goes anywhere without your explicit yes.
What happens in the first conversation?
If you are hiring: what this person is accountable for twelve months out, what the rest of the team already covers, what has been tried so far, and what the market has said back. Most of the time that conversation changes something about the brief, and occasionally it ends with the honest answer that a search is not what the situation needs. If you are a candidate: what you do, what you want next, and what you would not take.
What should you bring?
| If you are | Worth bringing | You do not need |
|---|---|---|
| Hiring, and the role is already defined | The job description and the compensation band | A shortlist of firms to compare |
| Hiring, and the role is not defined yet | The problem you are trying to solve | A job description |
| A candidate actively looking | A current resume, however rough | A polished portfolio site |
| A candidate not looking yet | Just the conversation | Anything at all |
How quickly will you hear back?
Kelly answers her own email, so a reply comes from her rather than from a queue. If you would rather not wait on email, the calendar shows her real availability and a booked call is the fastest route.

kelly.yosten@kyosearchpartners.comCommon Questions
Do you take briefs outside digital, marketing and creative?
- No. You will be told that rather than taken on and quietly under-served.
Can we talk before deciding on retained or contingent?
- Yes, and that is the normal order. Which structure fits comes out of the conversation about the role.
I am a candidate, will you keep my details on file?
- Only with your agreement, and nothing is submitted anywhere without your explicit yes to that specific role.
Do you do contract or interim placements?
- No. Permanent and direct-hire only.
